I'm super happy when I hear couples are considering eloping, because it takes a lot of courage to take a different route than the most. But I'll promise you - when done purposefully, it's the best way to truly honour your relationship and the start of your marriage because if focuses only on you, not on your guests or families or traditions you don’t feel connected to.
