Tromsø is a perfect example of everything I love about the north. Even though it's thriving city is easy to reach, drive a few minutes and you're in the middle of the wild north. The time of the year is perfect for exploring autumn colors while still having the possibility to experience the northern lights.

Finnish Lapland, a wintery wonderland nestled in the far north, is just something else. The endless forests are blanked with snow, creating a breathtaking landscape. March is perfect for elopement in Lapland, since the days are finally getting longer and it isn't that freezing cold anymore.

The Lofoten Islands are unpredictable, breathtaking, and full of surprises. The islands are magical, no matter the weather. It's the perfect place to truly feel present. What if we can't elope on that timeframe?

Even though planning an eloping is so much easier than planning a big wedding, you should do it in a way that honors your love and relationship. To feel truly present with your spouse, I recommend spending at least an extra day or two in your elopement location.

I completely understand that sometimes work and other things won't offer you the flexibility to elope in the timeframes I'm offering or you might have been dreaming about a location that is somewhere else in Europe. While I have limited possibilities for á la carte elopements, I would love to make it happen.

Hi! I'm Jaakko! After almost a decade of documenting traditional weddings, I decided to follow my heart. I started offering elopements at select locations in Northern Europe on set dates throughout the year as full-day or multi-day experiences.
