You cherish connection over perfection – your dream wedding day isn’t about performing for guests, it’s about being fully present with each other in a place that feels wild and free. That’s why a wedding in the Lofoten Islands is exactly what you’ve been looking for.
You imagine a day that’s calm, meaningful, and filled with awe – but right now, it might feel impossible to plan from afar. Where do you even start with locations, weather, permits, or timing?
You don’t want a rushed courthouse wedding. You want a quiet, breathtaking experience that unfolds naturally – not because someone planned it for you, but because you created it together.
I hear you. Take a moment and read how I can help you.
No guest list. No pressure. freedom to be yourselves. A day built around connection, quiet moments, and the raw beauty of nature.
I’ve been named twice in Junebug Weddings’ Best of the Best and twice as Lookslikefilm’s Artist of the Year.
From permits and routes to local vendors – I’ll guide you through the process, so it feels effortless and personal.
Forget the popular locations and see the hidden corners of Lofoten, chosen for their quiet beauty and sense of solitude.

Kind words from a past couple:
Start your experience here
I photograph weddings for people who want to honour their love through a meaningful experience and memories that last for a lifetime.
Your wedding is not a photoshoot. Instead, it should be about you and what connects you. A celebration of your relationship, planned around your love for one another. It's the way I wanted to get married with my wife but didn't know back then.
What counts are the moments. And the memories of moments. To me as a photographer, your experience of a shoot is so much more important than a photo.
My Approach: I believe A photo will only feel real if the moment was real.

1. Lofoten is incredibly unique but can be still secluded
Sure, some of the most beautiful places here, like Kvalvika Beach or Reinebringen, might be very crowded for a few months during the year, but there are also mountaintops where you can spend the whole day and night without anyone else.
The mountains aren't that high, but they are steep! The good thing is that if you hike for 20-30 minutes, you get some fantastic views, which is pretty unbelievable. And because you're at sea level, you don't get tired similarly when hiking at high altitudes.
Because Lofoten is in the north, you can most likely experience the nightless night during the summer, which is UNBELIEVABLE even for me, who has been living above the Arctic Circle!
If you haven’t seen the midnight sun in the Lofoten islands, I promise you it will blow your mind. It’s like you’re having ean ndless sunset for six hours. You just don't want to sleep!
Or if you've been dreaming of seeing the Northern lights, there's no better place! Btw. the best time for the Nothern lights is September and March (even if they try to convince you otherwise).
4. unpredictability makes everything feel more real
Some may desire the predictability of a clear sunny day, but in my experience, Lofoten's unpredictable weather crafts the most memorable stories.
A sudden drizzle, a gust of chilly wind, or a looming cloud—each adds a touch of rawness and authenticity to your fjord wedding.
This is why I think there's beauty in embracing what the day brings. It's nature's way of reminding us that true love isn't about perfection but thriving in every circumstance.
